The French artist Olivier Grossetête is coming to New Zealand with a community project to create complex elements of cardboard architecture. The events will be taking place at the Taranaki Arts Festival, and at the Christchurch Arts Festival, in September 2017.
The public is invited to build together a unique utopian architecture using only cardboard boxes, tape, and human power. Ephemeral by nature, the sky-high building will be deconstructed on the following day in a festive environment.
